About the Program

Fayetteville VAMC Spinal Cord Injury Disorders Primary Care Team provides ambulatory and screening services to eligible veterans who have sustained injury to the spinal cord or who have other non-progressive spinal cord lesions.

Services Offered

Staff and physicians work closely with the spinal cord injured veteran, family members, and significant others to ensure the highest quality of care.

We assist the spinal cord injured patient with the following critical functions —

  • health promotion
  • prevention and early prevention
  • early identification
  • treatment of complications related to Lifestyle, Aging, and Living with Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders

The goal of our SCI Team is provision of quality care, enabling patient to maintain the highest quality of life.
