Caregiver Support Coordinators

Caregivers are family members, loved ones, or friends who provide care for Veterans who are living with the effects of war, disability, chronic illness, or aging.  The Caregiver Support Coordinators provide information on VA/community caregiver support resources and emotional support for caregivers.  The Caregiver Support Coordinators for the Fayetteville VA Medical Center are Walter Hair, (910) 488-2120, ext. 5669, and Doris Moore-Russell, (910) 488-2120, ext. 7211.

Extended Care and Rehabilitation

Our extended care and rehabilitation program provides physical medicine and rehabilitation, transitional care, as well as home and community care. Our Geriatric and Research Education and Clinical Center is also a part of this program. Read more about our extended care and rehabilitation program.

Health Promotion & Disease Prevention

The Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (HPDP) Program includes representatives from a variety of clinical settings working together to ensure coordinated health promotion and preventive services are provided to our staff and Veterans.  Read more about our Health prevention & Disease Prevention program.
