New Primary Care Provider, Dr. Trojanowski
Fayetteville, NC – The Fayetteville VA Medical Center is proud to announce Zbigniew Trojanowski, M.D. as the new Primary Care Provider for Brunswick County Outreach Clinic effective May 8, 2012. The Brunswick County Outreach Clinic is located at Supply, N.C. to provide primary health and mental health care services for Veterans in and around Brunswick County.
Congressman Mike McIntyre stated, "Securing a doctor for the Brunswick County VA facility is great news! Having a doctor join the medical team at the Brunswick clinic is a win for our veterans and a testament to their service and sacrifice. Many thanks to Director Goolsby of the Fayetteville VA for acting quickly to fill this position."
Dr. Trojanowski will lead one of two Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACT). The PACT includes a Primary Care Provider (which can be a doctor, a physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner), registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, a medical support assistant, pharmacist, social worker, dietician and mental health provider. Veterans care at the clinic is delivered by an engaged, collaborative team in an integrated environment.
Dr. Trojanowski’s extensive medical experience began in 1979 as a General Practitioner. He began his federal career as a Family Medical Physician in 2006 at Fort Bragg, NC. He transitioned to the Veterans Health Administration in 2009 as a Family Practitioner at Fayetteville VA Medical Center, NC. He later transferred to Dorn VA Medical Center located in Columbia, SC in 2011.
