Fayetteville VAMC To Host Veterans Day Program

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Fayetteville VA Medical Center will host a Veterans Day program and wreath-laying ceremony to honor America’s Veterans at the Fayetteville VAMC auditorium located at 2300 Ramsey Street, at 11:00 am, on Friday, Nov. 9.  The service is open to employees, Veterans and their families and the general public.
            The guest speaker will be Brig. Gen. Ferdinand Irizarry II, Deputy Commanding General, US Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Bragg, NC.  A wreath-laying ceremony will also take place inside the auditorium.
            “We celebrate Veterans Day to honor military Veterans who served in all American wars,” said Fayetteville VA Medical Center Director, Elizabeth Goolsby.  “We invite everyone to join us on this very special day.”
