Memorial Service to Honor Deceased Veterans Nov. 15

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Fayetteville VA Medical Center will host a Memorial Service to honor deceased Veterans in the community at the Fayetteville VAMC auditorium located at 2300 Ramsey Street, at 12:00 pm, on Thursday, Nov. 15.  The service is open to Veterans and their families and the general public.
     The service is held each year to honor deceased Veterans from Community Nursing Homes, Hospice & Palliative Care and Fayetteville VAMC Community Living Center.  Services will include passing of the candle, religious readings and music.  The guest speaker will be Chaplain (MAJ) Ralph O. Clark, Family Life Chaplain from Fort Bragg, NC.  
     “Veterans and their families are welcome to join our staff as we honor America’s heroes and the sacrifices they made for our country,” said Fayetteville VA Medical Center Director, Elizabeth Goolsby.  “We invite everyone to join us for service and prayer.”
